About Community Football
 The SANFL is the governing body for 270 affiliated metropolitan and country clubs across South Australia.
In late 2008, the SA Football Commission appointed the inaugural Community Football Board after an 18-month review into the best governance model for the state’s Affiliated Leagues.
The Board will oversee and promote all levels of football below the SANFL throughout South Australia.
The inaugural Board comprises David Shipway as chairman, with other members Kym Russell, Gino Capogreco, Jeff Burchell, Tim Jackson, Peter Lindner, Rob Kerin and another director yet to be appointed. Glen Rosser holds the position of General Manager of Community Football.
