    About Community Football

    The SACFL  is the governing body for 30 Leagues comprising 319 affiliated metropolitan and country clubs across South Australia.

    In late 2008, the SA Football Commission appointed the inaugural Community Football Board after an 18-month review into the best governance model for the state’s Affiliated Leagues.

    The Board will oversee and promote all levels of football below the SANFL throughout South Australia with an aim to provide funding and benefits for all community football.

    The Board comprises David Shipway as chairman, with other members David Benson, Gino Capogreco, Jeff Burchell. Scott Duncan, Rob Kerin, Peter Lindner, Kym Russell. Glen Rosser holds the position of General Manager of Community Football.
