JARMAN ON ABUSE CHARGE
NORTH Adelaide coach Andrew Jarman will front the SANFL tribunal tomorrow night to face a charge of allegedly using abusive language.
The tribunal has the power to fine or suspend Jarman. Coaches can speak to the umpires as long as it is not in a confrontational manner. In 2005, the Roosters took internal action against Jarman after an extraordinary half-time outburst at the umpires in a match against South Adelaide at Prospect. The three field umpires in that game, including Hay, were dropped to the lower grades for two weeks for failing to report Jarman. |
