PORT ADELAIDE MAGPIES BOARD APPOINTMENTS
The Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club Inc. is pleased to announce that former Federal Member for Port Adelaide, Rod Sawford, has 
accepted an offer to join the Board for the 2008 season.
accepted an offer to join the Board for the 2008 season. Rod has been co-opted onto the Board and will be charged with the portfolio of Special Projects Director. Sawford, who has been in Federal parliament since 1988 before retiring in the lead up to the 2007 election, has been a member of the Club’s Strategic Planning Committee for the last 12 months and has been a long time Vice President of the Magpies.
Rod will provide invaluable knowledge and expertise as the Club works to build its relationship with the local community and, specifically, the exciting development within the Port Adelaide region.
Robert Cope continues as President/Chairman in 2008 with Bruce McFarlane as his deputy.
