Ken Farmer Medallists

The Hardys Wines' Leading Goalkicker is presented a medal named in honour of North Adelaide's legendary goal kicking champion Ken Karmer. Famer played 13 seasons with North from 1929 - 1941 and kicked 1417 League goals, a record that still stands today. In 11 consecutive seasons, Farmer broke the 100 goal milestone and was the league leading goalkicker in each.

In 2007, SANFL fans were treated to a remarkable goal kicking display by Ken Farmer Medallist Brant Chambers. Chambers kicked 106 minor round goals and in doing so, became the fifth player in the history of the Sturt Football Club to reach the magical 100 goal milestone and the first SANFL player to do so since the Magpies' Scott Hodges in 1996.
